Vallotech SA is a Swiss manufacturer of high-precision plastic components based in Vallorbe in the canton of Vaud, founded in 1904 and part of the international Techniplas Group. The company employs around 82 people at the Vallorbe site and produces several million components per year in precision injection molding. Its core competency is the processing of thermosets – in particular phenolic resins filled with glass fibre, glass beads or graphite, as well as BMC (bulk molding compound) – and of high-performance thermoplastics such as PEEK, PEI and PPS. Achievable tolerances reach plus/minus two microns. Services include tool design and simulation, precision injection molding, metal and ceramic replacement, and complete plastics finishing with grinding, milling, post curing, ultrasonic welding, automated washing and deburring, laser marking and automated assembly. Typical components are plastic pump impellers, pump housings with inlet and outlet parts, pulleys, connecting pieces, sealing discs, overmolded hybrid parts and plastic covers. Customers come from the automotive, medical technology, electrical engineering, watchmaking and general machinery sectors, among them Continental, Schaeffler, Phinia, Rolex, Bergeon, Johnson Electric, Parker, Hansgrohe and Axor.
